Last night I got a call from TEAMeffort Ministries offering me a job for the summer.  I will be working as a worship leader and assistant supervisor/guide to work sites for youth groups.  Youth groups come to these camps and during the day they go to the work sites and do missions projects.  In the evening they will come back and have a time of Music and Worship.  The location is not 100% as they still have youth groups signing up for the different locations.  I will most likely work in either Tampa Bay, FL or Carolina Coasts, NC.  Either place I will be on the beach all summer long.  God has definitely blessed me and HE is definitely worth our praise.

This does mean I will only be home for 3 weeks before I go work and about a week after I get done working.  I will be spending 9 weeks in one of these locations.  The Lord will provide!

You may not believe it to be true, but it is. 

Anyway, things in my life.  My life has been crazy lately, and for the sake of those who do not feel like taking more than a minute to be on my xanga I will be quick.  So here we go...

School - school is going well.  I have 19 credit hours this semester, and I'm really busy.

Music - I'm doing a lot musically this semester.  I'm beginning to play more in Chapel.  
            - I made Spring Chorale, which means that I will not be back in St. Louis over Spring Break.  Instead I will be touring up to New York and back, stopping in Virginia, Washington D.C., and I believe Pennsylvania.  I'm not totally sure what states I will be going through, but I will be getting a lot of plastic spoons.  
            -I have now played my own music at a few churches lately.  I've been playing shows for churches and youth groups, and I have two shows scheduled and more churches who are interested in hearing my music.  
            -This week I'm also part of a singer/songwriter competition and I hope to get in the top 3 places, which is feasible.  Overall, I'm very excited and God has been blessing me.

Volleyball - I am playing volleyball here at Bryan and that is going well and has been a lot of fun.  I have fallen in love with the sport again and I can not wait to play some other colleges out here.  It should be a lot of fun.

Other - I am applying for jobs.  Tomorrow I am going and giving my resume out.  There are 7 summer camps that are looking for worship leaders over the summer.  So I am giving them my application in the hope that I will get hired (obviously).  So you all can pray that God's Will will be done in that situation.  I have been praying about it and hope that it all works out.  If I do get a job, I do not know how much I will be around in St. Louis, but I'm really excited and hope that this is what is in store for my summer.

Hello everyone,

Not much is going on here, just school.  Saturday night I am performing at Grace Bible Church in Dayton, TN.  I'm excited to get to play some of my songs in front of an audience and to get to help lead worship.  It will be fun times.  Well I got class, talk to you later.
